The bus bridge will take passengers directly from the Union City station to the Warm Springs/South Fremont station. Buses will also take riders to the Fremont station, but trains will not stop there.

BART will provide train service to take passengers between Warm Springs/South Fremont and Berryessa/North San Jose, but the times will differ from the listed schedule. Late-night riders should take note: The agency advises that the last northbound train of the night will depart at 11:26 p.m., with the two scheduled trains after that cancelled.

Trains heading north from Union City will also be leaving the station six minutes earlier than what is listed for the Union City, South Hayward and Hayward stations.

The work is part of ongoing efforts to update and maintain tracks around the 131 miles managed by BART.
